Our History

1972

Our group of companies has its origins in 1972, dedicated to the manufacture of semi-combed long fibre yarns.

1980

In 1980, the production of recycled yarns using the Open End system began.

1994

In 1994 we inaugurated the new open end plant dedicated to the manufacture of synthetic open end yarns.

1997

In 1997, the 25th anniversary of the company was celebrated by obtaining the ISO 9002 Quality Assurance certificate, being the first Spanish spinning mill to do so.

1998

In 1998, all the shares of Hilados Benisaidó SL were acquired. With the incorporation of the new factory, the group now has three production plants.

2011

In 2011 we moved the Hilados Benisaidó SL factory from Alcoy to Muro de Alcoy to larger premises.

2019

In 2019, the first 660 KW photovoltaic plant will be installed, followed by another 503 KW plant in 2020 and another 538 KW plant in 2022.

2023

From then until now, we have been renewing our machinery and have become one of the most modern spinning mills in Europe.

Our Facilities

Our facilities occupy a surface area of 15,000 square metres, and we have large warehouses for raw materials and yarns. The spinning machinery used by Hilados Benisaidó is of the latest generation, all of it from leading manufacturers and less than 10 years old, which means that we can guarantee optimum quality in any type of fibre or blend. We cover the entire spinning process, from the opening of the raw material to the doubling of the yarn.
